Dad and Match soaking up the sunshine (and a lovely Pinot Grigio) on the Sundeck at the top of Ajax. A perfect finish to a perfect week...

Family snap at the top of Aspen "Ajax" Mountain... just before another leisurely long lunch (I love skiing with the old man!)

Skier takes a wrong turn... ?#!*

Dining in style at the Cloud 9 Restaurant on Highlands Mountain.

Dad skiing at Aspen Highlands. This fast became our favourite of the 4 mountains - long runs and no-one there! The first photo has the Highlands Bowl in the background - Aspen's inbounds extreme skiing area. Needless to say, Dad preferred the green and blue runs.
First signs of spring... tiny shoots sprouting everywhere and pushing their way through the snow. It's certainly a great time of year - the snow is still plentiful but the days are warmer and you can even work on your "racoon-face" tan (Match is winning in this department!).

Ever get the feeling like someone is watching you??... The aspen trees have amazing "eyes". It can be quite spooky when you are in a heavily wooded area on your own!
Like father, like daughter... a cheeky self-portrait after a great day of skiing in new snow and a few vinos and laughs over lunch!

Dad arrived last Thursday night - on his way back to Perth from a business trip in Toronto. He brought a fresh dusting of snow with him, which was followed by spring-skiing with plenty of sunshine. Pics of Dad in the woods.
