End of season party for the mountain staff. Ski Co open 3 lifts exclusively for employees and provide a massive end-of-season blowout party, including drinks at the ice bar, food, band, pond-skimming and mountain tubing competitions. They also had a raffle and gave away a Subaru outback, trip to Mexico, round-the-world airfare, $1000, and a mountain bike! It was a brilliant way to say farewell to the end of our first ski season here.

Next visitors were Naomi, Peter, Tali & Oscar on their whirlwind trip of the USA. We stayed the night at one of Challenge Aspen's donors home, complete with hot tub and slope-side views, and woke to 6 inches of fresh snow in the morning!

Strange signs and sightings in the Aspen area... look out for hoola-hoopas and sasquatches (or crawling Kristens)

I flew back after a fleeting 8 day trip back home to the busiest week of the season - the Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. Some 400+ veterans, plus an additional 1000+ volunteers descended upon Snowmass for a miracle-filled week of skiing, outdoor sports, and partying.

It's been a while since I updated our blog... In the meantime, I've been back in Sydney to get my work visa processed, we had the busiest ski week of the season with 400+ disabled veterans in Snowmass for the Winter Sports Clinic, a visit from Kristen & Steph and the Simos, and the end of season party! So here's a tonne of pictures to update you.
