John counts up the bounty from Monday night's concert donations!

Amy Grant & Vince Gill perform on the Fanny Hill stage, the final piece of our 2 day golf classic extravaganza! We were the first ever non-profit to host a concert on Fanny Hill and it was a huge success, with a crowd of about 1200 and thousands of dollars given in donations.
Our jobs at the golf tournament was to ensure all players and sponsors were happy and kept fed and watered... whilst zipping around in golf carts. You can imagine just how tough that job was! Pic here with me, Match, and colleagues Anne & Sarah.

These guys make golf look easy - and they are missing limbs! Aaron Holm and Heath Calhoun (both double amputees) and Joey Bozik (triple amputee) show us how it's done. Pics from the 4th Annual Vince Gill & Amy Grant Golf Classic that we ran 24-25 June. This event is the main fundraiser for Challenge Aspen each year and why you haven't heard from me for about a month... we've been working around the clock to pull this amazing event off! The Sunday night dinner & concert with Vince Gill & Amy Grant raised $400k+ in the auction alone - it was a goose-bump filled affair with celebs, pros and generous supporters digging very deep in their pockets.

Soaking up some L-O-V-E with Simon & Sarah (rugby pals) at the Chili Brew Fest and Ziggy Marley. Every Thursday night in summer there are free concerts on Fanny Hill (yes, that really is the name of the main ski run into the village). It's the most awesome venue, with the mountains as the backdrop

The reward at the end of a beautiful hour walk... Crater Lake and the Maroon Bells in the background.

Match practicing his guiding skills on Vicki and John at the beginning of the Crater Lake walk - he must have been talking about bears at the time?!?

Hiking to Crater Lake, with the Maroon Bells Mountains in the background
On top of the Rockies with Vicki and John - visiting from Perth at the beginning of June. Last remnants of snow on the ground.

At the "Peace Ranch" near the Frying Pan River with my work colleagues in the beginning of May for our off-site planning retreat. A good excuse to dress up as cowboys and girls... complete with leather chaps!
