On a training run with fellow Budapest Marathoners Elaine and Jenni a few weeks ago. We had a great write up in the local newspaper, the Aspen Times Weekly, including a great plug for our menage-a-trois fundraising party! You can read the full article at www.challengeaspen.com/documents/News/AspenTimesWeekly_Marathon_20070804.pdf

Match and I have just 7 more weeks of training until race day in Budapest on 30th September. We're well on our way with our fundraising efforts too, but could do with a bit more of a boost! If you'd like to help us achieve our goal of raising $9,000 for Challenge Aspen you can make a donation online at www.challengeaspenmarathon.kintera.org\kirstandmatch. Thanks in advance!

The shade of palm trees, salt water and icy-cold beers... the only way to handle Florida's heat and humidity! PS... we were working REALLY HARD on this work trip!

Soaking up the sun at Clear Water beach, just west of Tampa, Florida. The water was as warm as bath water and the humidity at 98%... god only knows why anyone wants to live in Florida?!

Jay, Kevin, Anne, Stacey and me at Disney World's "Typhoon Pool" for the Extremity Games surfing competition.

Artwork on one of the competitor's prosthetic - amazing stuff! These guys and girls were an inspiration and living proof that anything is possible... no matter what your disability!

Manning the Challenge Aspen booth at the Extremity Games with Jay, Anne & Kevin.

Camp fire singalong and s'mores making at one of the sunset dinners.

At the top of the Coney Glade chairlift on Snowmass for one of the Blazing Adventure Sunset Dinners that Match does for work. The "Snowmass Pipeline" sign is the start of the winter terrain park... now a perfect picture frame. Pic with us in it with Aspen and Independence Pass in the background.
